Impact Hike - Holyoke Range

Hike for a Sustainable Future

We are celebrating 15 years of cultivating youth leadership in Central America!

For eight consecutive years, our dedicated hikers have walked the stunning trails of the Massachusetts mountains with one goal: to transform lives. This year, we invite you to join us in the 2024 Impact Hike, a global campaign with an ambitious goal: to raise $15,000 USD in three months to support youth leadership in Guatemala and El Salvador through the programs of Asociación SERES.

Why Do We Hike? At SERES, we believe that the power to build a more just, equitable, and sustainable future lies in the hands of young people. Your donation will enable young people in vulnerable situations to access the tools and opportunities they need to become leaders in their communities. These young people will transform poverty, lack of opportunities, and hopelessness into action, resilience, and hope.

  • Skill Development and Leadership: Our graduates have significantly improved their confidence in leadership and problem-solving skills, with 82% being recognized as leaders by their peers.

  • Community and Civic Engagement: More than 50% of SERES graduates hold leadership roles and are actively involved in community planning, promoting sustainable solutions in their communities.

  • Support Networks: 59% of SERES graduates report having access to mentors and support networks that accompany them in their leadership journey.

Be Part of the Solution!

With your help, we can continue to empower these young people to take on leadership in their communities, build solutions for pressing challenges, and create lasting impact. Join us in the 2024 Impact Hike, and let's walk together towards a brighter future.
